Main features:
Wintering All Risks Total Loss Cover is the cover provided for winter crops like winter wheat, rye, barley, tritikale, rapeseed and winter mustard against all weather risks, which can result in non-renewal of the vegetation in the spring.
This is a double-trigger cover, i.e.: the indemnification is due providing that a) the loss exceed 50% of the initial plants density, and that b) the indemnifiable field is re-sown.
The loss of 50% and more of initial plants density is considered as total loss. The loss of less than 50% of initial plants density is not considered as indemnifiable. Minimum number of plants (plants density, for grain crops) acceptable for insurance is 300 per 1 sq.m.
The insurance basis is a separate field. It is a must to insure all the fields of a given crop at the farm. Each field has its own TSI. The deductibles are applicable to the TSI, individually for each field.
Valuation basis is cost. Minimum limit per 1 ha is 500 UAH , maximum is 2500 UAH .
As a basic rate it is used the rate for the winter wheat. For the crops of winter rye and tritikale the same rates are used, as for winter wheat. For other crops the increase coefficient of 50% is applied to the basic rates.
Individual Pre-insurance survey and loss adjustment by Agrorisk is compulsory.
The cover period is after the appearance of the shoots above the earth until the renewal of vegetation, but not later than April 30.
This insurance product is for general agriculture farms and fields.
